So after some time getting troops ready I am finally starting to do some Blood and Plunder games.
Blood and Plunder is really a fun game and it take time to master tactics for each faction in the game. In this case we had a raid scenario where the french buccaneers were attacking a village defended by spanish militia.
It was a great game and cannot wait to do more games with this fantastic set of rules by firelock games !

Hi, great writeup, and I love the terrain. How did you do the “base” land ? i.e. the nice grass/dirt mat there…is that cloth or fabric ? Transportable ? I’d love to have that kind of setup.
It is just the Cigar Box Mats mixed ground plush (http://cigarboxbattlestore.bigcartel.com/product/mixed-ground-4×6-plus-240)
It is a great mat, and underneath it I have some geohex hills to provide the different contours..
