Victrix partnership

Today CLASH of Spears has an EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT to make!

We are proud and thrilled to announce that CLASH of Spears and VICTRIX are partnering to provide YOU, CLASH Warband boxed sets!

As most of you know, we LOVE Victrix miniatures. Especially the Punic Wars range that fits perfectly with CLASH. Victrix models are exquisitely detailed, historically accurate and have incredible variety due to their assembly combinations.

These Warband boxed sets will use the existing, awesome and extensive, Victrix line but will be prepared for skirmish warfare by combining 4 to 6 different troop types for a total of 45+ miniatures in one boxed set!
They will also come with CLASH unit cards, including the stats and special skills of that faction’s units. So just one box is all you need to field a full force in CLASH, and different combinations of it.
Following the votes of more than 500 pre-registered CLASH players-in-waiting, we are going to start with the 3 most requested nations: Republican Romans, Carthaginians and Gauls.

And for all of you that have registered we are happy to announce that these Warbands will be part of the pre-release campaign and subject to a significant discount from retail price!

If you are not registered, dont miss out! You can do so here

I have been busy painting single based Caesarian Romans knowing (hoping) that a game just like this would eventually come out, it had to, too many beautiful miniatures being released by various companies. Now with the partnership of Clash of Spears and Victrix, it feels to me like this is going to be BIG, I for one cannot wait.

Imagine individually basing and magnetizing hundreds of miniatures then fitting them on resin movement trays fitted with flexible metallic mats. I do this to be able to move between games and because I was waiting for a game like this. Good on you for partnering with Victrix. It’s hard to find better plastic miniatures. I am assembling 60 of their Germanic tribesmen to complete what I need for Warlord Games Battle of Teutoburger Wald in their Germania Book.

I would be happy to playtest it with my 12 to 14 grandsons. They have become quite capable in Warlords of Erehwon and I would like to push them towards historical games. Heck, I would be happy to proofread, edit or pay for a beta copy.

Any idea when it will go on sale yet?

Best wishes and many thanks. I enjoyed the videos you linked for me.

This has gotten me really excited about Ancient wargaming again.
The partnership with Victrix is really good. I dont have the time for an army just now.
It is however possible to do both sides in a skirmish gang. All to seduce my 40k playing
club members to do a real game of ancients. 🙂
